Reading this again, this isn't that bad. It would be easy enough to add words to hangman games written in Basic, for example. I must be going soft or something.

Being almost an educational game, hangman was installed on our crappy library computers. Several lads found out how to hack into the program and change the words that had to be guessed. We were now faced with the prospect of 'reddwarfisgreat', 'cockcuntfuckpiss' and 'melling[the librarian]isafuckingwhore'.

Had the people responsible for this not been sad library frequenting nerds who knew how to change computer programmes, they may have been regarded with a small amount of esteem.
