B : "No"
A : "Well, why do you do it then?"
The correct answer is "I don't shag old grannies". A useful exercise for Year 9 pupils.

Graffito along the edge of a desk in a languages classroom. From the second year to the fifth we wondered with reverence at the identity of the laconic exponent of wit who authored the inscription and, of course, the identity of "Ned". One lad claimed "Ned" was a sixth-former he knew but nobody believed him owing to the obvious age of the graffito. The mystery was never solved.
