Another way to prove your "hardness" in the Home Ec room; the more drops you're prepared to lick off a knife, the tougher you are. Unfortunately, I was a) Very good at this game and b) Pretty unpopular, which meant that the theory of the tabasco/hardness ratio was considered disproved by the very fact I won it.
Now that I come to think about it - a curiously large number of pasttimes were ceased around the time I got good at them. Hmm.
